A good news for all of you that follow us on the blog: we at OF are ready to go overseas! Yes, the destination is Orlando, in the Florida sun, in the USA. The reason is our participation in the important trade fair KBIS, “Kitchen & Bath Industry Show”, the largest exhibition in North America dedicated to design and innovation in the Kitchen and Bathroom sectors. We will go there full of enthusiasm, aware of our products and our novelties, and we are really full of energy.
The KBIS fair will be held from Tuesday 8th to Thursday 10th of February: three intense and full days, made of exhibitions and meetings with the most important buyers in the sector. It is an international showcase for the most famous brands in the outdoor kitchens industry, a stimulating and interactive platform that showcases the latest products in the sector, trends and technologies of over 600 exhibitors. In 2020, to give a sense of how important this fair is, KBIS welcomes over 14 thousand qualified designers, dealers, architects, showrooms, builders and renovators. The event is part of the Design & Construction Week® (a sort of Salone del Mobile in Milan, but much bigger) and attracts more than 60 thousand industry professionals.
According to Suzie Williford, Chief Strategy Officer of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA), sponsor of the event: “KBIS is the place where the kitchen and bathroom industry launches new products for the new year. KBIS really stands as an absolute preview, a first launch to the media, to show what is new and discover the best of what our industry is bringing to the market".

But who is behind this event? The National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA), a non-profit trade association that owns the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show® (KBIS), as part of Design & Construction Week® (DCW). We at OF have been following this network for some time, as it continues to inspire us and because it is constantly at the forefront of proposals to companies and customers. With almost 50 thousand members in all segments of the kitchen and bathroom remodelling and design industry, the NKBA has been shaping and leading the industry since the foundation of the association in 1963. The NKBA is very close to OF in the mission: it envisions, in fact, a word where everyone can enjoy safe, beautiful and functional kitchens (and bathroom). The NKBA’s mission is to inspire, guide and empower the kitchen industry through the creation of special certifications, markets and networks.
In this regard, we remind you that OF outdoorkitchens is a brand linked to the company Tecnozeta S.R.L., whose core business (specialisation) is the production and sale of metal furniture for workshops and commercial activities in the engineering sector. It is precisely their expertise in sheet metal, stainless steel and aluminium working that led to the creation of the OF brand, closely linked to the design of specific and highly customized solutions for steel outdoor kitchens.Back
